Each state carries different guidelines on which containers can and cannot be accepted under the container deposit scheme.
As a general rule, most 150ml to three litre drink containers are eligible. Containers should be empty, uncrushed, unbroken and have the original label attached.
As a general rule we accept beverage containers made of the following materials:
- Liquid paperboard (cartons)
Just make sure they have a "10c Refund" marking on the label.
Wine, spirits, cordial and plain milk containers are generally not eligible.
