I swiped my EFTPOS card at the depot, but my refund hasn't gone into my bank account yet?

When you tap your card for a refund, it can take 3-5 working days for the payment to go through. It's like a little waiting game.

If you choose the cheque, or savings option, the payment is instant! It's like magic—boom, the money appears in your account right away.

But if you opt for the credit, Visa credit, or Mastercard option, the payment may take a couple of days to process.

Why, you ask? Well, it's because the payment is technically treated as a refund, and the banks handle it a little differently when it's sent to a credit account.

We know it can be a tad frustrating to wait for those funds to hit your account, but rest assured, it's all part of the banking process.
